If you are a coffee fan, you probably know what a cappuccino is. However, for people who aren’t too familiar with the types of coffee drinks often get confused between a cappuccino and a café latte. The most crucial point of difference between the two is that a latte has twice the amount of milk that a cappuccino has, accompanied by a very thin layer of foam.

One of the most popular and well-loved espresso drinks ever, a cappuccino is a small but powerful cup of coffee that packs a great caffeine punch. It is the ideal combination of steamed milk, espresso and frothy milk foam.

We all want to make the perfect cup of cappuccino at home. But how does one get a cup of coffee without the hassle of a coffee machine or long brews? The idea is rather daunting so we go for the easier but more expensive option - ordering cappuccinos from cafés. What if we told you that you can make your ideal cappuccino at home?

Yes, you read that right! If you want to know how to make cappuccino coffee at home, then we have the perfect method for you. And no, you do not need a coffee machine for the same. A cappuccino is believed to be the richest type of coffee that was ever made. It typically consists of two shots of espresso with layers of frothy, foamy milk.

In order to make a quick cup of cappuccino at home, you will need the following ingredients -

Milk, sugar and Country Bean instant coffee. To make the best cappuccino coffee at home, it is important to remember that the ratio of the ingredients should be equal thirds. How to make cappuccino coffee at home -

Directions

Start with making the cappuccino cream. In a bowl, mix 1 tbsp of sugar, 1.5 tsps of Country Bean instant coffee powder and 1/2 tsp of water. With a whisk or spoon, start with whisking the mixture till it becomes light and fluffy. Keep it aside.

Steam 1 cup of milk, but don’t let it boil. Keep it aside. Pour ⅓ steamed milk into a separate container.

Add the remaining steamed milk to a blender or Country Bean's milk frother and plunge it 10-15 times to get the desired milk foam.

To assemble your cappuccino, pour your steamed milk into a mug. Add your cappuccino cream and stir it into the milk with a spoon. Top it off with your milk foam to get a beautiful frothy cup of cappuccino for you to enjoy at home! You can also sprinkle some cocoa powder, cinnamon powder or instant coffee powder over your piping hot cup of cappuccino if you want.

Pro tips

Use fresh milk as far as possible. The fresher the milk, the better the froth!

You can use Country Bean’s flavored instant coffee powder or the original flavor, whichever you prefer.

Adjust your sugar based on the level of sweetness you prefer in your coffee.

A good cup of cappuccino is best when served hot and strong.

For a vegan option for your cappuccino, you can use any milk you prefer like almond milk, oat milk, etc.

Keeping these instructions in mind, you can now easily make your own rich, foamy cappuccino at home without the hassle of visiting a café.
